Year in School:
Director Of Professional Development
I have applied my marketing skill sets to The Invictus Group over my first summer at Temple. Here, I gained an introduction to sales, the buyers journey, and finding customer pain-points. I learned and mastered Verizon’s selling processes and became a mentor to new employees. This past summer I continued to apply my skills at DVIRC, where I reorganized and updated their client database. I also assisted in the planning of their annual summit.
Things you’ve learned from AMA:
AMA has shown me the many different avenues I could take in my professional career after college. This organization has provided me with the many tools needed to be a well-rounded student professional who is trying to carve a path for his future career in marketing. I have learned how to work together on a team, and to give back to an organization, student body, and a university as a whole. The most important lesson this organization has taught me is the importance of networking. This lesson has taught me to step out of my comfort zone and create partnerships, to work together, and to push everyone to be the best that they can be at every stage in life.
What you’d like to do in your career:
I would like to pursue a career in branding or account management after college. I also plan to pursue my own business ventures later down the road. Finally, I would like to go back for my Master’s Degree as well.
