If you said ‘Yes’ to any of those, then this role is PERFECT for you.
The StayLocal.co team is looking for a part-time content specialist to help find and share the latest and greatest local stuff going on in the Philadelphia market. We provide you all the tools, guidance and support to become the local stuff guru for StayLocal.co. Responsibilities include:
- Curating new local stuff on a daily basis to be shared on the StayLocal.co platform
- Measure content metrics to improve strategy and advise clients
What it takes to crush this role:
- Self-starter and motivated individual. Not afraid to take a task and run with it
- Excellent communication skills.
- Loves the local scene and all that it has to offer.
- Ability to dedicate 5 – 10 hours per week (with flexibility).
- Does not need to be micro-managed. That’s not our style.
What is StayLocal.co? Ever wonder what’s going on in Old City this weekend? Or maybe in a new area and not sure what’s going on right around you? There’s awesome things going on in the city everyday but most of the time it’s kind of hard to find it. StayLocal.co is a local network of businesses and communities can connect with each other. Whether you know about them or not. Our platform provides opportunities for local businesses to share the awesome things they have to offer, and a central place for people to find it. We’re a local, Temple-made start up. Launched our proof of concept in late 2014 and started launching our brand this past summer. We’re growing and need more hands on deck to help continue to support our growth.
Compensation We’re a startup, which forces us to be leaner than your average company. Therefore, we have a milestone compensation structure. When you hit the key milestones that we both agree on, you get compensated. And for those of you looking for a long-term opportunity, if you crush this role and can’t get enough it, we have opportunities for you to become a formal partner.
Timing & Logistics We’re looking for someone to join the team from September through December. This is mostly a remote position with a few in-person meet ups. Hours are very flexible with the exception of making sure certain target dates are met.
