Through the Citizenship Program, the Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department, in conjunction with Temple University’s chapter of the American Marketing Association, seeks to maximize student preparation for professional positions within the practice of Marketing. The Citizenship Program stimulates student development and assimilation into the marketing industry by promoting opportunities such as professional development, mentoring, career preparationand networking with other students and Marketing professionals.
Citizenship is an innovative new program implemented by the Fox School of Business’s marketing department along with the Temple University American Marketing Association. This new initiative promotes each marketing student to actively pursue a brighter future for themselves by getting involved and networking. Attending events will be rewarded with points, and points will lead to greater opportunities for each student. Opportunities specific to students with the highest points include lunch with professors, end of the year banquets, scholarships, and internships, as well as an opportunity to attend the International Collegiate AMA Conference in New Orleans in March 2015. This program will offer involved students the chance to work closely and build relationships with the leaders of the marketing department.
