H2O for Life Fundraiser – October 30, 2017
This semester Social Impact pledged to fundraise $500 for a project from H20 for Life, an organization that raises awareness about the global water crisis. The project we are focusing on is to construct a 75m3 masonry rainwater storage tank, gender-segregated VIP latrines and a hand-washing station for children from Mutanga Primary School in Kenya. We raised a total of $66 during our first fundraiser featuring some lovely dogs and a Starbucks basket raffle. TU-AMA is pleased to educate other students on the current problems the children are facing in Kenya while fundraising for a good cause.
